About Us
As mentioned before, we are The Eden Coven! We usually just go by Eden, or whoever happens to be up at the time if you know us well enough to do so. We're a plural system, a collection of personalities sharing a single body. While we have the same memories and act as a unified whole, we usually switch around every few days between three of us, with Trinket being more in the background.
When we started blogging at the beginning of 2024, we still believed we were one person, as absurd as that is to think about now. Our early output reflects this, but we're keeping it up for posterity. We don't like to be extremely forthcoming about personal details, but we're Canadian and well into physical adulthood. We do software development as a day job, and it's not something we're really interested in talking much about outside of the eight or so hours of the day it occupies our time.
We love witches and modern fantasy type settings, and our collected fursonas contained multiple witches from the start. A friend jokingly referred to us as a 'coven' at some point, and we combined that with the name we'd picked out for ourself for nonbinary reasons before we came to terms with being a system: Eden. The title is mainly just for fun.
Why we made a website
We've only been openly furry since 2017 or so when we finally started being willing to live as a real person (or people) in the world. Since then, and as part of the hobby, we took up writing as a more serious hobby (that is to say, we do it regularly, either fiction or stuff about games or whatever, but we try to write a little every day). That was one reason for making a website: a place to put that stuff. The other reason is more complex: we've been around on various parts of the internet for decades, usually more lurking than participating. We were a Something Awful goon until we fell off using the site in 2015 or so, and before that we were on GameFAQs and other video game forums. Even our twitter account, now quite abandoned, was created initially as a means to interface with Nintendo's Miitomo. When we discovered ourselves, we had an account on a short-lived site called Cohost, which allowed long-form posts. Even before that site died, we saw that social media was a shitshow, and no place would last. While there's no guarantee of Neocities lasting forever, either, having a website allows us to have a place for the stuff we want to keep. Thoughts, ideas, images, and whatever else our shared heart might desire.
The Members
Mira
(Art by Roxanna Rachnid)
Suit of Cups, Water Element
Any pronouns are fine
Mira is a cat, and so gender doesn't matter much to them regardless of how they appear. They're shy and anxious, and slow to trust. But once they like you, they're full of affection. Being cute and desireable is the their greatest wish.
Our kitty has a strong masochistic side and a somewhat spiritual sense of showing love through total devotion. Most of that energy goes to Viper, their owner and master, but they love to cuddle with anyone they trust, assuming he approves.
July

Suit of Wands, Air Element
She/They
July always identified with a character we invented for fiction and art, but we just call her July whatever the character's name is. Of us, she's the closest to identifying with our body and being human, but she'd still rather be fluffy.
She likes things to be structured and orderly, and she suffers from misophonia. As a result, she can be irritable, but that doesn't mean she isn't friendly. Rather, she's a part of us that's sentimental and romantic. Her greatest flaw is trying to do too much for other people at the expense of herself.
July most likes interpersonal stories and cherishing the ones she loves, especially Trinket. You can get on her good side by spoiling her.
Viper
(Art by Saucy)
Suit of Swords, Fire Element
He/It
Viper sees himself as a monster. He feels the sensation of his fangs and his horns at times, but he's also happy to change his perception to something else as long as it feels powerful and scary in his estimation. He's energetic and confident, but also moody and defensive if he senses any kind of threat to himself or someone he loves. He has a sensitivity to being abandoned that means he's slow to become invested with someone, but gets very attached once he has. He's very sweet and loving with Trinket and Mira, though in different ways. Mira is his pet and focus of his sadistic side. He's also our most visually-oriented member, and did the biggest part of the work on our designs.
Trinket
(Art by Saucy)
Suit of Pentacles, Earth Element
She/It
Trinket is our darling doll. She fronts only rarely, and for very short periods. Even when she does, her physical stamina is low, she can't control our face perfectly, sometimes goes nonverbal, and has to pitch our voice up to avoid feeling dysphoric. What this means is that she's a rare and special jewel.
She's a ray of sunshine, full of love for everybody in our life and each of us. She can force herself to the front to calm us down in certain circumstances, but she's also always in the background giving encouragement and level-headed perspectives on things. She loves playing and hugs, so most of the time when she shows up its just to enjoy herself a bit. If she remembers chores that need doing, though, she'll almost always go do them without delay.
Blackheart
ItOur fifth, created accidentally during a period of intense distress. It exists to help us cope and return control when we're physically able to handle it, and has no desire for fun and games while it's up. That said, it's very polite to us and does what we ask, including accepting a name, which is originally didn't want. If it has an appearance at all, it would be a kind of shadowy "hound" that protects us. We decided on a doberman, specifically.
