July here,

Well we got through the month without any major disasters so I'm going to call that a big win for me! We're tired and its hot out but I'll take it. Everything feels pretty good lately.

Over the month we streamed the first Resident Evil on Playstation. The classic REs were always something we could never enjoy but wanted to check out and we eventually realized that returning to the actual origin was probably the right way to get there. It did the trick! We really enjoyed it and now we will probably play the second one within a little bit. We also tried out some rom hacks of old games, a lot of which were suggested by our friends. That's an ongoing project but the SMW Romhack Peach's Adventure stands out as one of our new favorites. Just a really solid platformer.

We've started making some personal changes around here, too. Trinket has been feeling for some time that they might actually like being a boy sometimes. We started going with a he/she sort of thing, but we've been taking care to stick with the boy terms most of the times while we feel stuff out. He's been more energetic even compared to how he usually is! And also... more in touch with his sexuality. Not that he spends much energy on sex, but... well maybe it's something better for him to explain himself when he gets a chance. He's a very cute boy, and where that makes him happy, I'm happy too.
