Viper here

Was so busy over the weekend that it never even occured to us to write this sucker. Kind of a blur of a month overall with a lot of work to do, and that's fine but the last part of the year is always really unpleasant for us. I wouldn't say we have anything against Christmas aesthetics and such, but it's typically 2 to 4 weeks of absolute hell stress. We don't do well with disruptions in our schedule or space, and we don't really like having to be around family. We'll probably be unavailable to stream and such for the last part of the month, and a lot of old traumas get dredged up. Huge pain in the ass.

We got a Switch 2 though. Haven't had a chance to mess around with it much yet but new toy, hurray. Actually, we started playing Phantasy Star Online for the first time since Dreamcast and now that's really got us in its grip more than the Switch. It's so pleasant to have a game like this without the wildly predatory practices that current games employ, even the ones we like.

Streamwise, we've finished with all that Dreamcast stuff. Guess it took a while. Finished with the Namco Museum stuff too, and have gotten into some fairly dank versions of Jeopardy. Our stream schedule is now pretty open and we're figuring out what we want to do, but the Critter Time team had its first major collab in the form of a White Elephant Gift Exchange! It was planned and executed by Necrotext who is lovely and did a lot of work. Turns out a collab with a bunch of team members is actually a lot of fun, and hopefully more things like that end up happening in the future. We gave the TurboCD version of It Came From the Desert and Rejax got it, with no knowledge of what it's like. This is ideal. We got Necro's own gift, a Mario World romhack. Probably, we'll use that to guide our streaming this month.

Even though this is a deeply unpleasant time of year, I will maintain hope for things to be okay. At any rate, we'll get through it. Happy Holidays to yall

Thinking about looks for Trinket, wanting some pretty dress stuff, we figured a cosplay idea we've tossed around for a while was appropriate. She's Alice from Touhou, who normally uses dolls, but now she's a doll herself! It's a good bit, you see.
