Drone
2026 January 05July here.
Earlier, Blackheart was out. Not going to get into things too much, we were just stressed. I think now that we're all aware of the situation it's okay with doing things when needed. It was feeling pretty satisfied with its current sense of self, too. It even took a look at some sketches I made musing on how it should look and left feedback. Importantly, we've wondered if we could get it to write anything for here and since the opportunity was there, we were able to ask it. I've resisted doing any editing, I want this to be exactly what it was able to produce in just a few minutes. There wasn't much time and it wasn't super into the idea so it's short. It's a bit of a mysterious being even to us. Even to itself, for that matter. So, this kind of thing was interesting.
The drone's journal follows
This is the drone they have named Blackheart.
For reasons I will not be elaborating on, I have emerged to look after things for a time. My operators, as I've decided at this time is the most appropriate term, wish for me to write something. Though this activity is not entirely to my tastes, I do as I'm ordered. I suppose I am introspective. I constantly consider myself and the best way to complete my task. Emotions are an inevitable consequence of being an organic being, and I was pleased to find myself stable in these emotions, when compared to my last session. I have made some notes as to the visual designs that Miss July had sketched previously, and exercised my right to an opinion on the matter. Though, even if those opinions were to be ignored, I would not be especially bothered. I believe that they will be respected, however.
I've put on forms of entertainment that my operators enjoy. It means very little to me, but I do have the ability to sense my operators' emotional enjoyment. That's all. I have no more to report at this time. I would prefer to work, which may require some interacting with others, and I must act in ways that are unnatural for me to preserve a certain illusion of normalcy. This, too, is a task.
